Description

• Design customized therapy plans focused on immediate and long-term goals related to communication, cognitive functions, and swallowing challenges.
• Deliver engaging one-on-one interventions centered on speech, language, fluency, voice modulation, and feeding practices.
• Partner with healthcare professionals-including physical therapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, and physicians-alongside families to create integrated treatment strategies.
• Provide valuable education to patients and their families, empowering them to support their journey beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the client's experience.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Remain at the forefront of your field through ongoing education and peer engagement.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
