Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Sylva, NC 28779

Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Nights

Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs).

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Pay Range: $37/hr - $42 per hour on a W2.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care (LTC) setting in accordance with care plans and facility policies.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor residents for adverse reactions or changes in condition.

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support comprehensive resident care.

Respond to emergencies promptly and follow facility protocols.

Maintain compliance with infection control practices and safety standards.

Support the emotional and physical well-being of residents through compassionate care and communication.

Skills/Experience Needed:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an LPN in a long-term care (LTC) environment Required.

Ability to manage multiple priorities during night shifts with limited supervision.

Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and electronic charting.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program Required.

Certifications:

Active LPN License North Carolina or Compact State Required.

BCLS Certification Required.

COVID-19 Vaccination Required, per facility policy.
