Travel Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at a new hospital and rehab unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and possess a strong foundation in patient evaluations and functional training.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers
  • Provide family and patient education on treatments and progress
  • Implement gait training and therapeutic exercises (Therex)
  • Ensure optimal patient care in a 7:1 patient ratio environment
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active Physical Therapist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Previous experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation system is a plus
