Residential Remodeling Craftsman - High-End Homes $33.00 - $43.00 / hour Full Time Chesterfield, MO On-site 09/08/2026 Job Description Residential Remodeling Craftsman - High-End Homes Location: Chesterfield and the greater St. Louis, Missouri area Work Setting: On-site residential projects - this is not a remote position Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week; no regular weekends Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, multi-skilled residential craftsman to complete repairs, renovations, and remodeling projects in high-end homes throughout the St. Louis area. This position is for an accomplished professional with at least 10 years of hands-on residential construction or remodeling experience. You should be proficient across multiple trades, capable of diagnosing problems, and able to complete projects independently with minimal supervision. Our projects include carpentry, finish trim, doors, windows, tile, drywall, painting, siding, gutters, and minor plumbing and electrical work within applicable licensing requirements. Because much of the work is performed inside occupied homes, professionalism is just as important as technical ability. The right candidate will communicate well with homeowners, protect the customer's property, maintain a clean work area, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. Location Requirement Applicants must currently live within a reasonable daily commute of Chesterfield, Missouri. This is a field-based position requiring daily travel to residential job sites throughout the greater St. Louis area. Monthly team meetings are held at our Wentzville office. Applicants who do not currently live within commuting distance will not be considered. What We Offer $33-$43 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills Steady, year-round work Approximately 40 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule with no regular weekends Company vehicle provided after 90 days Health, dental, and life insurance after 90 days Paid time off after 90 days Specialty equipment provided Variety of challenging residential projects Professional and respectful work environment Responsibilities Complete residential repairs, renovations, and remodeling projects Perform skilled work across multiple residential construction trades Evaluate job-site conditions and determine appropriate repair solutions Complete projects efficiently with minimal supervision Deliver clean, accurate, high-quality workmanship Install and repair trim, doors, windows, tile, drywall, siding, gutters, and other residential components Perform minor plumbing and electrical work within applicable licensing requirements Communicate professionally with homeowners, coworkers, and supervisors Protect customers' homes, furnishings, and property Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Accurately communicate project status, material needs, and potential problems Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and company vehicles Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements Required Qualifications At least 10 years of hands-on residential construction, remodeling, or home-repair experience Strong working knowledge of several residential trades Experience working in occupied homes Ability to assess projects and complete work independently Demonstrated attention to detail and high-quality finish work Professional appearance and communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Standard hand and power tools needed for residential remodeling work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to use email, text messaging, and mobile applications Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Willingness to complete job-related background and driving-record checks as permitted by law Preferred Experience Finish carpentry and detailed trim work Door and window installation Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Tile installation and repair Drywall installation, finishing, and repair Interior and exterior painting Residential electrical troubleshooting Siding, gutter, and exterior repairs Direct communication with homeowners Who We Are Looking For This is not an entry-level helper or single-trade position.
