One part of the day, you’re leading a project coordination meeting; the next, you’re reviewing shop drawings or helping the field crews with a site issue. You’re the go‑to person making sure the customer, our detailers and engineers, the fabrication shop and field teams are aligned and ready. Your daily tasks include: Coordinating schedules and contract milestones Communicating with detailers, engineers, and vendors Tracking project documents, RFIs, and submittals in real time Reviewing drawings for design changes and developing change order pricing Supporting procurement and contract administration Preparing clear, accurate weekly status reports Helping field teams avoid delays and solve problems fast Your job is to keep everyone on the same page and projects moving forward. What We Are Looking for in Our Assistant PM If this sounds like a good fit for you, here’s what we need from you: 13 years of experience in structural steel, construction, or project coordination Familiarity with Tekla PowerFab, Project Sight, and Microsoft Office Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredReliable transportation and willingness to visit active job sites Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in construction environments Must pass a background check and drug screening What You’ll Get in Exchange for Your Hard Work We don’t just value your expertise, we reward it: Competitive Pay: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
