Textile Business Manager

Summary:Drive the growth of Mimaki's Textile & Apparel business throughout North America by supporting dealers, end users, and Mimaki sales teams through business development, consultative selling, technical expertise, workflow optimization, training, and market development activities.This position will serve as a textile printing expert, helping customers improve productivity, reduce operating costs, optimize workflows, and select the best Mimaki solutions for their production environment.Travel RequirementsAbility to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada.Participation in customer visits, dealer meetings, trade shows, open houses, and training events as required.Product PortfolioDye sublimation, Direct to Fabric and Direct to Film HW and Ink (Mimaki TS, Tx and TxF Series).Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentSupport the growth of Mimaki Textile & Apparel products throughout North America.Work with regional sales teams and dealers to identify, develop, and close business opportunities.Support strategic customer accounts and key dealer initiatives.Identify new applications and business opportunities for Mimaki Textile solutions.Assist in the execution of business plans designed to increase hardware and ink sales.Consultative SalesWork directly with dealers and end users to understand production requirements and business objectives.Recommend solutions that improve workflow efficiency, productivity, print quality, and profitability.Assist customers in evaluating ROI, production capacity, and process improvements.Support complex sales opportunities through technical and application expertise.Train dealers and sales teams on consultative selling techniques focused on business outcomes rather than equipment specifications.Workflow & Production OptimizationAnalyze customer production environments and identify opportunities for improvement.Recommend best practices for printing, finishing, color management, workflow automation, and production planning.Identify production bottlenecks and recommend improvements throughout the complete workflow, from file preparation and RIP processing to printing, finishing, and final product delivery.Technical Training & EducationDeliver product, application, and workflow training to dealers, end users, and Mimaki personnel.Develop and conduct webinars, workshops, demonstrations, and educational programs.Train dealer sales teams on consultative selling techniques and textile market opportunities.Support product launches and new technology introductions.Marketing & EventsSupport textile-focused trade shows, open houses, customer events, and industry conferences.Assist with case studies, customer success stories, and market education initiatives.Support regional marketing programs that drive awareness and adoption of Mimaki textile solutions.Industry ExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience in digital large format printing, industrial printing, or related industries.Strong understanding of textile printing applications including sublimation, DTF, DTG, transfer printing, soft signage, sports apparel, fashion, and textile production environments.Experience supporting production environments and helping customers improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.Technical ExpertiseExtensive knowledge of digital printing technologies, color management, workflow automation, and production processes.Strong understanding of RIP software and production workflow solutions.Experience working with multiple RIP platforms such as Raster Link, Wasatch, Caldera, Ergosoft, Inèdit, CADlink, Fiery, or equivalent solutions.Ability to troubleshoot workflow challenges and recommend productivity improvements.Strong understanding of print production workflows from artwork preparation through printing, finishing, and delivery.Consultative Selling SkillsProven ability to perform consultative sales by understanding customer business needs and recommending solutions that improve productivity and profitability.Experience analyzing end-to-end production workflows, from artwork preparation and RIP processing through printing, finishing, and delivery.Ability to translate technical capabilities into measurable business benefits and return on investment for customers.Ability to present business value beyond equipment specifications.Communication SkillsStrong presentation and training skills.Ability to communicate effectively with production managers, business owners, operators, dealer sales teams, and executive management.Ability to lead webinars, workshops, customer presentations, and technical training sessions.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Textile & Apparel hardware and ink sales growth.Strategic opportunities generated.Dealer development and engagement.Customer training and education.Event and webinar execution.Customer workflow optimization.. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mimaki Usa Inc
