Body Shop Manager

Job TitleSolicits outside body & paint work to coincide with the numerous internally generated paint jobs that currently exist.Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:00pmSalary: Up to $80,000/yr, based on experienceMajor ResponsibilitiesOversees the day-to-day operation of the Body Shop department.Solicits outside body & paint work.Passes technical and internal information to technicians and ensures clear storage of information.Ensures staff is trained to support all customer needs.Enforces company policy regarding work in progress.Keeps up to date with technical information and informs relevant stakeholders of any personnel requirements.Minimum Education or Certifications RequiredHigh School degree or EquivalentASE Certification preferredMinimum Experience or Skills Required5+ years experience in related fieldPrevious management experience preferredOther previous experience preferred include areas such as auto body, ICAR, ICAR platinum, welding, and paint/refinishingExcellent communication skillsStrong computer skillsGood presentation skillsFinancial P&L knowledgeDedicated team playerPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsBody Shop environmentDisclaimerNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
