Surgical Technician

Job Summary The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assisting the surgeon as necessary, assisting the circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintaining familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned. This role supports high‑quality perioperative care. Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a certified Surgical Technologist who has completed an accredited Surgical Tech program and holds a current CST certification and AHA BLS upon hire. They are detail‑oriented, team‑focused, and confident supporting safe, efficient surgical procedures, with prior Operating Room experience preferred. Available Opportunities Full‑time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours), evening shift Full‑time, 1 FTE (40 working hours), day shift Part‑time, 0.8 FTE (32 working hours), variable shift Part‑time, 0.75 FTE (30 working hours), evening shift Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Surgical Tech program. National Certified Surgical Technologist – National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
