About the Position

Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Strong patient assessment and intervention skills - Ability to administer medications and follow through with orders - Proficient in patient documentation in EHR - Capable of implementing and monitoring a plan of care - Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) Description: Requires patient assessment and intervention. Responsible for medication administration. Ability to follow through with orders and observe patients. Documentation in electronic health record (EHR) is essential. Implementing and monitoring the plan of care is required. Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) is expected. The unit cares for patients in oncology, hematology, and end-of-life/hospice situations. 16 beds are available in this unit.
