Director of Pharmacy (DOP) - Travel Contract

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for an interim Director of Pharmacy contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out to walk you through next steps.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have State License to Apply
• 5+ years of Pharmacist experience preferred
• Iowa pharmacist license required (or willing to obtain temp licensure)
• Inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Management experience required
• Experience with sterile compounding required, including USP 797 and USP 800

Assignment Details:

• Monday through Friday business hours, with flexibility as needed to help cover staffing
• Limited on-call required
• Working interim pharmacy director role with pharmacist in charge responsibilities
• Order entry system: Meditech
• Site automation: Omnicell
• Responsibilities include staffing, supervising staff, meetings, and financial oversight
• Professional dress code
