This is primarily a remote work position; however, the person chosen for this position must live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and be authorized to work within the United States.Job DescriptionInfoDefense is looking for a Security Analyst to join our team. The person hired for this position will integrate and manage security information and event management (SIEM), firewall, intrusion prevention, vulnerability assessment, security awareness training, phishing assessment, security analytics, compliance assessment and other technologies used to deliver information security services including periodic reports.This is a full-time, salaried, hybrid work position. However, to be qualified, the candidate must reside within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The position involves recurring on-call support outside of normal business hours and travel on occasion.QualificationsTo be successful in this position, the candidate must be proficient in Linux, networking, scripting, and Microsoft 365. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential. We are looking for someone with the desire and ability to learn quickly, a great attitude, good work ethic and at least two years of information technology experience including the following:3 years Linux operating system2 years Network troubleshooting2 years Microsoft 365 ManagementProficient in database technologies such as Elastic Search and SQLKnowledge of Fortinet firewall technologiesExperience with enterprise change management processesNetwork+, CCNA, or Security+ certification is desiredDegree from an accredited college or universityPreferred Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of one or more scripting languages Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.Experience managing Amazon Web ServicesFundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, or any other regulatory standards (HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS, etc.)Certifications (CISSP, Security +, CEH, CISA, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft) and any other cyber security related certification.Cyber Incident Response ExperienceMilitary service is a big plusCompensationInfoDefense offers a generous base salary along with performance bonus, 401k retirement plan, health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance benefits.
