Who you are We are seeking a tech-savvy and curious student to join our Marketing team as an Intern. In this role, you will support content creation, review, and broader digital marketing activities, including events and public relations, while helping ensure Geotab's content performs across both traditional search (Google) and emerging AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini. What you'll do As a Marketing Intern, your key area of responsibility will be supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, including creating and reviewing engaging content, assisting with digital marketing campaigns, coordinating events, and contributing to public relations efforts. You will work closely with the Geotab Brazil Marketing Team, as well as marketing agencies and external vendors. The opportunity 12-month work-term beginning September 2026. Hybrid Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week. There are 4 intern positions available in Marketing: Creative Content, Strategic Communications, Events, and AEO Content. Your first week at Geotab begins with 'GEO Launch' - a one-week Employee Orientation. How you'll make an impact Creative Content (1 position) Design and edit high-impact social media assets, including short-form videos (Reels/LinkedIn) and static posts. Support the production of polished editorial materials like brochures, infographics, and PDF guides. Localize global marketing assets from English to Portuguese. Utilize AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Gemini) to accelerate creative workflows. Strategic Communications (1 position) Support the review and proofreading of PR materials for technical accuracy and tone. Facilitate information flow between Geotab and local PR agencies. Assist in the logistics of scheduling interviews between Brazilian journalists and Geotab spokespeople. Monitor local media coverage and assist in creating impact reports. Events (1 position) Assist in the end-to-end planning and logistics for trade shows and corporate gatherings in Brazil. Coordinate the inventory and delivery of promotional materials. Support the administrative flow of sponsorships. Help consolidate post-event lead data to generate ROI presentations. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Content (1 position) Optimize digital content for AI engines (LLMs) and search engines using AEO best practices. Perform regular audits of existing local content to ensure accuracy, sentiment, and visibility. Track how Geotab is cited across AI platforms in Brazil and manage performance dashboards. Conduct competitive analysis to identify strategic gaps. What you'll bring to the role Languages: Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English is mandatory. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Design, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Business. Proficiency in relevant tools (Canva/Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint/Excel, SEO/AI tools). Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
