• Hours per Week: 40+ hours

• Licensure/Certifications: Physician Assistant license; ACLS strongly preferred
• Experience: Prior OR and ICU experience; vein harvesting experience advantageous

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide rounding and patient management in ICU, pre and post-cardiac surgery settings
• Care for patients emerging from OR with open hearts, VATS, and lung surgeries
• Assist with vent management and post-op recovery
• Support intraoperative activities, including vein harvesting (preferred)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Handle a patient load of approximately 10-15 at a time

What You Need:

• Current Physician Assistant license in Texas
• Prior experience in cardiac/vascular surgery or ICU preferred
• Strong clinical skills in perioperative patient care
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
