If you are dedicated to patient care, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare, this role may be an ideal fit for you.– Draw Blood Samples from Patients: Accurately and safely collect blood specimens from a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric patients.– Prepare Specimens for Laboratory Testing: Properly label, handle, and process blood samples according to established procedures to ensure accurate test results.– Create a Trusting Environment: Explain procedures to patients clearly, demonstrating professionalism and sensitivity to build confidence and comfort.– Maintain Records and Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of sample collection and related activities, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.– Ensure a Safe and Professional Environment: Follow safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, and promote a welcoming atmosphere in the healthcare environment.– Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patient specimens.– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and documentation.– Customer service skills, especially in a retail or service setting.– Keyboard and data entry experience for recording and managing patient information.– Bilingual in Spanish is required to serve diverse patient populations effectively.– Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.– High school diploma or equivalent is required.– Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required; 1+ years preferred.– Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus but not mandatory.– Flexibility to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with rotating every-other Saturday, and availability for overtime or on-call shifts.Take the next step in your healthcare career by joining our dedicated team.
