The project manager coordinates all aspects of the project from purchasing materials to overseeing the installation timelines and ensuring the project is completed on time and efficiently to create an exceptional and enjoyable experience for our clients.ResponsibilitiesAward all scopes of work on a timely basis, ensuring that each scope is all-inclusive including taxes and insuranceDraft subcontracts to be thorough, complete, and all-inclusive i.e. payment terms, safety policies or requirements, insurance requirements, etc.Coordinate preparation of submittalsCoordinate the preparation of PO'sWrite change orders and update Change Order LogAttend kick-off meeting with Field Supervisor to discuss the job and productsProcurement of materials and track lead timesAttend job site meetings as requiredCoordination with subcontractorsOrder hardware required for installationProvide Field Supervisor with installation instructions and hardware needed for all productsProvide consistent communication and follow-up with customers, vendors, and subcontractorsAnalyze Cost ReportsQualificationsCollege Degree and/or minimum of five years field supervisory experience requiredDemonstrated supervisory skillsBasic building construction knowledge preferred experience in commercial HVAC & Plumbing.Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is requiredExperience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, etc.)Valid CT Drive's License.LocationFarmington Valley - 519 Cooke St. Farmington, CT 06032Pay RangeSalary $100K - $125K.BenefitsCareer advancement in a growing field.Job security.Earning potential.Company-paid phone, iPad and/or laptop.Company vehicle, gas card.Paid vacation and holidays.Medical insurance.Dental & vision insurance available.401k Plan.About UsModern Mechanical is a family-owned business established in 1976, celebrating 50 years of continued growth.
