Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher (valid state credentials required)
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Resource Teacher, particularly with elementary-aged students
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to develop differentiated lesson plans and adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
• Collaborative spirit to engage with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students with IEPs in a resource classroom setting
• Work in partnership with general education teachers to implement support strategies within the mainstream classroom
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust supports to meet evolving learning goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment where every student is empowered to succeed
