Finance Manager Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) About the Opportunity We are partnering with a global industry leader that has established a corporate venture capital (CVC) platform focused on investing in innovative consumer brands and breakthrough technologies shaping the future of the industry. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Finance & Accounting professional to join a highly visible investment team in San Francisco and play a critical role in both portfolio management and fund operations. You will work directly with senior leadership, gain exposure to venture investing, and help support a growing portfolio of high-potential startups. Why This Role? Direct exposure to venture capital and startup investing Work closely with senior executives and investment professionals Broad ownership across finance, accounting, treasury, and portfolio analytics High-impact role within a small, entrepreneurial team Opportunity to influence processes and build scalable operations Long-term global career development potential Key Responsibilities Portfolio Finance & Investment Analysis Monitor and analyze the financial performance of portfolio companies Prepare portfolio reporting and performance updates for senior leadership Support investment evaluations through financial modeling and analysis Assess business performance against investment plans and identify key risks and opportunities Participate in valuation reviews and impairment assessments as needed Finance & Accounting Operations Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting Coordinate with external accounting, tax, audit, and professional service providers Review monthly and quarterly financial statements Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls Treasury & Corporate Administration Manage banking activities, wire transfers, and cash management processes Support expense management and approval workflowsCoordinate corporate tax filings and regulatory requirements Maintain and administer corporate contracts and insurance programs Drive operational improvements and process enhancements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, investment analysis, or related areas Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and corporate finance Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification Experience in venture capital, private equity, startup environments, investment management, or corporate venture capital Experience within consumer products, food & beverage, or related industries Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid work environment Exposure to a dynamic venture investment platform and innovative startup ecosystem If you are looking for a finance role that combines operational leadership with exposure to venture investing and innovation, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pasona N A, Inc.
