Their team focuses on helping providers recover revenue, reduce aging receivables, and navigate payer challenges through a combination of technology, analytics, and industry expertise.Job Description:The role is responsible for managing denied and underpaid claims, conducting detailed research, and driving resolution through payer follow-up and appeals. This role requires a strong understanding of Facility collections, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote, metrics-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Investigate claim denials to determine root causes and identify appropriate resolution strategiesPerform insurance follow-up with commercial and government payers to secure reimbursementPrepare and submit detailed appeals with supporting documentationTrack and document all account activity within internal and client systemsMonitor filing deadlines to ensure timely claim processing and payment recoveryIdentify denial patterns and communicate trends or improvement opportunities to leadershipEscalate complex accounts as needed to ensure timely resolutionMeet daily productivity expectations (30-45 accounts per day) and quality benchmarksQualifications:1+ years of accounts receivable or medical collections experience requiredStrong background in hospital (UB-04) collectionsRecent experience with Epic (within the last 2 years) is requiredProven ability to manage insurance follow-up, denials, and appealsKnowledge of commercial insurance, MedicareMedicaid, and other payer guidelinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environmentStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesPerks:Fully remote work environmentCompany-provided equipment (laptop, monitor, accessories, and more)Weekly new hire classes with opportunities for long-term growthStructured ramp-up period with performance supportOpportunity for contract-to-hire conversion based on performanceExposure to high-impact healthcare revenue cycle operationsAdditional Details:Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
