Temporary Assignment (3-4 Months)
This position is covering a team member on medical leave. While temporary in nature, it offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a well-established manufacturing company.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and professional Collections Representative to support our manufacturing client's accounting team during a temporary leave of absence. This role is responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding invoices, documenting collection efforts, and helping ensure timely payment of open balances.

This is not an Accounts Receivable position and no accounting or AR experience is required. Candidates with strong communication, customer service, collections, or administrative experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices and past-due balances.
Follow up on payment commitments and document customer communications.
Maintain accurate records of collection activity.
Work with internal departments to resolve invoice or billing questions.
Provide professional and courteous customer service while discussing payment status.
Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as needed.
Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

Previous collections, customer service, call center, office administration, or administrative support experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High School Diploma or GED required.
