Collections Representative

MagTech is currently hiring for a Collections Representative for a manufacturing client in the Metro Detroit area. Please apply below if you are interested and meet the qualifications. Collections Representative Location: Metro Detroit, MI Collections | Customer Service | Microsoft Office | Manufacturing | Invoice Follow-Up Pay: Competitive; Based on Experience Schedule

- Temporary Assignment (3-4 Months)
- This position is covering a team member on medical leave. While temporary in nature, it offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a well-established manufacturing company.
- Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices and past-due balances.
- Follow up on payment commitments and document customer communications.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activity.
- Work with internal departments to resolve invoice or billing questions.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while discussing payment status.
- Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous collections, customer service, call center, office administration, or administrative support experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
