Cherry Bekaert's Tax Services team is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to middle-market businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. In this role, you will lead complex tax engagements, develop client relationships, and help deliver strategic tax planning solutions that support our clients' long-term goals. As a Tax Senior Manager, You Will:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to middle-market clients, providing proactive tax planning, compliance, and consulting services.
• Lead and manage complex tax engagements, including the review of individual, partnership, estate, gift, and trust tax returns.
• Build and strengthen relationships with partnerships and high-net-worth individuals by delivering tailored tax planning and compliance solutions.
• Conduct research on complex tax matters and communicate practical recommendations and findings to clients and internal teams.
• Consult with clients on strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities and support their financial objectives.
• Lead engagement workflows, manage deadlines and deliverables, and oversee client communications throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Mentor, coach, and develop tax professionals through ongoing feedback, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Tax practice to enhance processes, improve service delivery, and support team success.

What You Bring to the Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Progressive public accounting experience with demonstrated leadership or people management responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of C Corporations, S Corporations, LLCs, Partnerships, and pass-through entity taxation.
• Experience reviewing complex individual and partnership tax returns.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting principles, GAAP, and federal and state tax regulations.
• Strong client relationship management, communication, and consulting skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial and tax technology tools.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $200,640 per year
