Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiograms and related ultrasound studies per department protocol, focusing on cardiac anatomy and function.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and apply appropriate imaging protocols for adult and/or pediatric patients as applicable.
- Review patient history, obtain proper consent, prepare studies, and document findings clearly for interpretation.
- Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic information and patient care.
- Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work environment; ensure data is correctly entered into the EMR/PACS and adhere to QA processes.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac sonography / echocardiography
- Cardiac imaging credentialing: RDCS (ARDMS) required; acceptable alternatives include RCS or RCCS (CCI) or ACS (CCI)
- Additional credential in RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RS (ARRT) is considered a plus
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment with a guaranteed 40-hour week
