Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, schedule varies.

The Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech will provide high-quality echocardiographic evaluations and imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing patients. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy and the ability to utilize echocardiography equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct echocardiographic examinations on patients to assess cardiac function.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort during imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and suggest protocols for patient care.
• Maintain and operate echocardiographic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Document and manage patient records accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
