Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

Position Overview

A well‑established healthcare facility in Manchester is seeking an experienced Locum Tenens Ob/Gyn Physician (MD/DO) to provide high‑quality women’s health, obstetric, and gynecologic care. This assignment offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to support a busy practice serving a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal visits, labor & delivery coverage, postpartum care, and routine GYN services.
• Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries as required by the facility.
• Manage both low‑risk and high‑risk pregnancies.
• Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with midwives, nurses, and other members of the women’s health team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3-4 shifts per week
• Shift Information: 7a-7:30p in-house call
• Annual Deliveries: 800
• Skills: OB/GYN procedures
• Support Staff: CNMs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board certified
• BLS and DEA required
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Current DEA registration
• Experience in both OB and GYN required
• Strong communication, surgical, and clinical decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
