Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Ob/Gyn

As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will be delivering comprehensive care to women, overseeing various aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. You will play a critical role in ensuring high standards of patient care while working alongside a passionate team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine and specialized examinations
• Manage prenatal and postnatal care
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary
• Develop treatment plans tailored to patients' needs
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients about health and wellness

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to patient care and continuous professional development

Schedule: 24-hour unrestricted call, 7a-7a, specific dates

Setting: Inpatient only

Delivery Volume: 1K per year, 2-3 per day

Will cover the ER

No abortions, but will perform D&C for miscarriages

Circumcisions preferred

Support Staff: Midwife

EMR: Allscripts

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
