About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission. The CFO will be responsible for designing and implementing the financial architecture, operational systems, and institutional processes necessary to support the company's global operations, particularly in diverse and complex international environments. This includes a strong focus on both traditional and non-traditional financial transfer methods, and the CFO is expected to be a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring a creative and passionate approach to serving communities in crisis, with a background that may include commercial, investment, banking, development finance, or frontier-market settings. The CFO will also be involved in advising on strategic financial choices, engaging with donors and institutional partners, and ensuring that financial systems and processes are effective and aligned with the organization's mission. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be bold, visionary leaders with a passion for impact and deep financial expertise. The role requires a candidate who is humble, curious, collaborative, and calm under pressure, with a strong motivation to build something significant from an early stage.
