Operations Maintenance Technician

divh2Job Title/h2pOperations Maintenance of CHP (Combined Heat Power) systems is a primary responsibility/ppFollow PM (Preventive Maintenance) schedule, routine field inspection of all equipment, complete daily site-walk to assess equipment visual health, completing routine greasing and oil top-up runs, and filling completed PM/Job Order on CMMS/ppIdentify spare parts and consumables procurement needs and prepare requisitions for approval/ppFamiliar with basic electrical repairs and sensor troubleshooting/ppSupport in organizing spare parts, tools, and consumables (Oil, Grease, Seals, Bearings, etc.); maintaining records, and ensuring the availability of spare parts on time/ppDismantling of equipment such as blowers/pumps/ppDevelop and maintain skills such as using forklifts, hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and examining the form and texture of parts/ppInspecting and collecting information on parts/pipes and other equipment; use rules, calipers, and other measuring instruments/ppFollow all safety SOPs and support in the fabrication of temp lines, pipes, patchwork, welding, grinding, or cutting work on site/ppCleaning equipment as necessary/ppEnsure all calibration records for crane, lifting devices, etc., are always up to date and kept in records/ppInspects and tests eye washes and other life safety systems/ppMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations/ppEnsure that the work area is kept clean, free of hazards, and is hygienic/ppTeam collaboration to achieve goals and objectives as needed/ppWorks as a backup operator as needed/ppFlexibility in working longer hours/overtime or weekend work/ph2Job Requirements/h2pEducation and Experience/pulliGraduation from high school or GED equivalent./liliHas taken some training toward a licensed trade/liliMust possess a valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record, the ability to become mobile crane certified, personnel lift, and forklift certified./li/ulpTechnical Skills/pulliAbility to read blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications to maintain and repair equipment/liliIdentify the tools and equipment necessary for repair and maintenance work/liliIdentify parts and other materials required to maintain and fix equipment/liliPerform basic diagnostic testing of pumps, compressors, conveyors, screws, and other large industrial machinery/liliAbility to check machine performance, dismantle machines, and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists/liliTest damaged parts according to specifications; replace the damaged and worn parts if necessary/liliReassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work/liliClean and lubricate machinery, including changing oils when required/liliListening to the equipment to understand variances and possible problems/liliBasic pipefitting capabilities/liliAbility to maintain records of repair and maintenance work using the CMMS system/liliCapable of leading contract mechanical work activities outside the capabilities of our local staff/liliAbility to weld is an asset/li/ul/div
