The IT organization encompasses a broad range of specialties, including Digital Health, Epic and Clinical Applications, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Infrastructure & Cloud Services, Software Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project and Program Management, IT Operations, and Information Security. Teams collaborate on high‑impact initiatives such as electronic health record optimization, digital transformation, data‑driven decision making, cybersecurity protection, cloud modernization, and emerging healthcare technologies. The Senior Solution Architect leads the design and deployment of complex data solutions tailored to meet business objectives. This role includes selecting and implementing the right technology stack, optimizing relational databases, and developing lakehouse strategies. The Senior Solution Architect constructs and refines sophisticated data models and defines detailed data structures and nomenclature. They evaluate and integrate new data sources, ensuring they meet high standards of quality. Additionally, the Senior Solution Architect excels in visualizing and presenting data solutions to ensure clarity in addressing the problem and providing actionable insights. They also mentor junior architects and contribute to best practices. Pay Range $110,052.80 – $183,414.40 Responsibilities Information & Data Architecture: Enforce enterprise information standards, guidelines, and principles; maintain documentation that maps data models to information systems; manage data dictionary; lead data architecture discussions. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements; serve as a trusted advisor for requirements refinement. Solution Design & Architecture Leadership: Enforce solution design; develop and review high‑level designs ensuring scalability, security, interoperability, and compliance; architect robust solutions for patient care, data management, and operational workflows. Strategic Alignment & Roadmap Development: Ensure solutions align with organizational goals; translate objectives into actionable architectural plans. Operational Excellence & Optimization: Oversee tools and processes to enhance system performance and efficiency; drive process improvements to optimize healthcare technology operations. Innovation & Technology Advocacy: Evaluate and recommend emerging healthcare technologies; lead initiatives to introduce advanced solutions and future‑proof the organization. Mentorship & Team Leadership: Mentor junior architects and engineers; foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Governance, Compliance & Security: Advocate for best practices in healthcare data security and regulatory compliance; comply with all policies and standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, statistical, or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). Master’s degree preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of related experience in data architecture, technology solutions, or a related domain. Skills & Knowledge: Experience working in a heavily regulated industry; healthcare experience is a plus. Advanced knowledge of product management and experience with global distributed multicultural teams. Experience with agile leadership and building, delivering, and maintaining production‑ready products. Knowledge of statistical data analysis and machine learning (linear models, time series forecasting, neural networks, random forest, NLP models, etc.). Expertise in Python coding and use of machine learning and statistical packages for modeling. Database skills, SQL, NoSQL, coding for ETL. Strong analytical, project management, judgment, decision‑making, and communication skills. Ability to identify problems, gather data, derive conclusions, work independently, and drive projects to successful completion. Excellent verbal and written communication; facilitation ability; attention to detail.
