About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Program Governance in BSA/AML and Sanctions Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for centralized governance, vendor and outsourced-review oversight, and operational reporting in the BSA/AML and Sanctions Operations vertical. This role involves owning the relationship with vendors and outsourced review providers, maintaining key risk and performance indicators, and ensuring that operational metrics are translated into executive and regulatory deliverables. The AVP will also be tasked with establishing a governance framework for risk assessment and escalation, as well as managing the vertical's deliverables calendar and acting as a business manager to the SVP. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a professional certification such as CAMS, PMP, or equivalent preferred. A minimum of 8 years' experience in BSA/AML, compliance operations, risk governance, or program management within banking or fintech is required, including experience in managing vendor or outsourced-provider relationships. The role demands a strong governance mindset, analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain controls. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in translating operational data into executive and regulator-facing deliverables, as well as the ability to drive outcomes across teams and third parties. Excellent communication skills and advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/BI tools are essential.
