Shipping and Receiving Associate

Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Location: Sauk Village, Illinois
- Unload trucks, verify goods, inspect for damage, and document discrepancies
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment; prepare shipping documents (B/L) and arrange carrier pickups
- Perform cycle counts, maintain accurate stock levels, and organize the warehouse
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment for safe material handling
- Log shipments, update inventory records in ERP/WMS systems, file claims, and ensure compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace following OSHA safety protocols
- Experience in warehousing and logistics
- Forklift operation experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely
- Familiarity with ERP and WMS software
