The unit is staffed as follows: Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 1 Triage RN, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), 1 Technician Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 1 Triage RN, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 HUC, 1 Technician Patient ratios are typically maintained at a 4:1 or 5:1 ratio. Type of Equipment: Philips Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Required Skills: Candidates must have at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience. Candidates lacking these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred Skills: While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will be prioritized: Experience with tPA administration STEMI care CPR Laceration repair Orthopedic care Personality Fit: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive culture fit within the team. Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIH Stroke Scale TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Floating Areas No floating to additional areas is required.
