Our impressive portfolio includes nearly 50 million square feet of medical outpatient buildings, lab and life science facilities and Senior Assisted Living centers throughout the country.Position Overview Healthpeak is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal or other contracting professional to support contracting and asset management initiatives across its Outpatient Medical and Lab portfolios. This role provides dedicated, high-touch support to a small group of real estate attorneys (typically 1–2), drafting and managing operational documentation, coordinating legal workflows, and supporting asset-level activity across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated support to assigned attorneys (1–2) for asset-level legal mattersCoordinate preparation and execution of property-level contracts, NDAs and ancillary agreements (hold harmless, licenses, access agreements, vendor/service documentation)Review master service contracts and related vendor/service agreements, coordinating execution and tracking key termsAssist with notices, lease administration items, and other asset-driven legal requestsTrack and manage documentation tied to property-level operationsWorkflow Management & SystemsManage intake, assignment, and tracking of legal requests through internal systemsMonitor workflow for assigned attorneys to ensure timely progression and executionMaintain consistency in processing asset-related legal work across the portfolioData Integrity & Document ControlMaintain accurate records of executed documents and asset-level activityEnsure alignment between legal documentation and system data (key dates, terms, property records)Manage document organization, version control, and transaction file integrityProcess Execution & ImprovementIdentify workflow gaps and implement practical improvements supporting asset managementSupport updates to templates, forms, and standard processesContribute to system enhancements and automation initiatives, including exploring AI tools to streamline legal operationsCross-Functional CoordinationServe as liaison between assigned attorneys, Asset Management, and Property ManagementFacilitate intake and triage of asset-level legal requestsProactively flag issues or inconsistencies impacting executionPosition Requirements5+ years of experience in commercial real estate legal support, legal operations, or asset/property management supportStrong drafting skills and understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, asset operations, and transaction workflowsExperience with legal workflow or document management systemsBachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; notary commission a plusStrong organizational and data management skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities while supporting dedicated stakeholdersSalary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, with generous cash incentives
