Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment AppFolio experience preferred Accrual-based institutional financial reporting experience preferred MBA, Master’s in Accounting/Finance, and/or CPA preferred Responsibilities Review financial statements, reports, and other documents, including balance sheets, ledgers, and income statements, in accordance with GAAP and real estate accounting principles. Analyze financial statements, identify discrepancies, and investigate any irregularities. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Troubleshoot and finalize monthly bank reconciliations. Responsible for accurate cash management, including approving A/P and requesting contributions when necessary. Assist in the preparation of budgets. Review the General Ledger to ensure proper coding of all transactions. Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments. Provide support to internal and external auditors. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $105K - $135K annually (exempt position), commensurate with experience.
