Key Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually through secure video chat sessions, facilitating discussions to improve their mental health.
• Encourage clients to openly express their emotions and experiences, assisting them in gaining insight into their thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, guiding them in identifying personal goals and navigating their therapeutic journey.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing your clinical expertise and a solution-focused approach.
• Maintain precise documentation of counseling sessions and client progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are prescreened and typically present with stable, low-acuity conditions. This allows you to focus on delivering high-quality care and establishing therapeutic relationships that foster client growth and self-awareness. You will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals address their mental health challenges, guiding them to discover practical solutions and coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a closely related field.
• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proven ability to practice independently without the need for supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills that foster effective client relationships.
• Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to navigate telehealth platforms seamlessly.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a remote counseling role.
