This is the in-home sales seat at a growing residential roofing company on Long Island. Homeowners reach out, an inside team qualifies them and books the appointment, and you show up, inspect the roof and attic, build the estimate, present it, and ask for the business. One visit. No cold calling. No door knocking. No chasing. The appointments exist; the company needs closers who can run them at a high standard.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll guide homeowners through one of the biggest purchases they'll ever make, and own the outcome. This is consultative, process-driven selling: trust built in the living room, a defined process followed with discipline, a decision earned in one visit.

• Run company-set in-home appointments: inspect, document, estimate, present, close.
• Own your numbers: the close rate floor is 35%, and revenue per sit is the scoreboard.
• Protect the margin: estimate to template — your commission is built on gross profit.
• Follow up on schedule: every prospect, every time, no leads ignored.
• Generate 8–10 of your own jobs a year through referrals and network — a minimum, not a suggestion.
• Ask for the review and the referral on every closed job.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

Start here, because nobody else does this: your appointment count is guaranteed. A minimum number of sits, on average, in writing — not “great lead flow,” a number the company commits to. Try to find another shop that puts that in writing.

WHAT YOU NEED

• You close deals for a living, and you've done it a lot: full cycle, at volume, with numbers you can recite.
• You can walk us through your last big close from memory: how it came in, the objection that almost killed it, and the final number.
• You run a process without ego. Freestylers wash out here.
• You're comfortable on a CRM and a tablet, and physically able to climb a roof and crawl an attic.
• You still want to get better. Reps who think they're a finished product wash out here.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Running at the minimum standard — 35% close rate — by day 30.
• 7–15 appointments a week, on pace for $1.8M+ a year in closed revenue.
• Follow-up so consistent nobody ever checks on it.
• Homeowners writing reviews that name you.

COMPENSATION

Straight commission on gross profit — and here's the math, not a promise. We penciled this floor on purpose using conservative numbers: 35% close rate, $15K tickets, 7 appointments a week. That comes out to about $183K a year — as the floor. The actual average ticket is $20K, and reps run 7–15 appointments a week, so real earnings run past the pencil math. Elite performers come out near $293K with quarterly bonuses on top. You will not find a documented floor at the shops posting “$300K uncapped!!” — because they can't show you the math.
