Inventory Clerk - 2nd Shift

SummaryThis Inventory Clerk position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and ensuring food products are properly tracked throughout the production process. The role works closely with warehouse leadership to support inventory accuracy, production planning, and food safety requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm plus overtime as required

Pay: $20.00 per hour or more depending on experience

Shift Premiums:Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm and 11:00pm, Additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm and 7:00am

ResponsibilitiesPerform inventory cycle counts before and after production activities to maintain accurate inventory records.

Report cycle count results to warehouse leadership for analysis and system updates.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory tracking activities.

Ensure unused and leftover food products are properly stored, restocked, or disposed of according to company procedures.

Utilize inventory reports to identify discrepancies and assist in investigating root causes.

Examine incoming food products and supplies within warehouse and refrigerated storage areas.

Verify tempered inventory and communicate additional tempering requirements as needed.

QualificationsPrevious inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
