Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available supporting an outpatient/ambulatory infusion division. This role focuses primarily on the review, dispensing, and verification of hazardous and non-hazardous medications for oncology and infusion patients, ensuring accurate and safe medication use.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
This 13-week contract position begins on September 28 and offers the chance to work with a leading healthcare provider in a community setting in Littleton, CO.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing order review and medication verification for chemotherapy and infusion therapies
- Dispensing hazardous and non-hazardous medications accurately to oncology and infusion patients
- Utilizing EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document and manage medication orders
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years infusion pharmacy experience; chemotherapy experience is a strong plus
- Proficiency with EPIC or comparable EMR systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with safety protocols
- Ability to work onsite in Littleton, CO; local candidates preferred
