Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:30 AM - 04:30 PMThur10:30 AM - 04:30 PMSun10:30 AM - 04:30 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store associates while carrying out security procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the exterior perimeter. Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and security‑related concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Assist with access control, visitor directions, and monitoring of store entry and exit points in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
