Commercial Credit Analyst IICountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst II to help grow our Commercial Lending Department. This in-person role is in our Plano, TX office. The Commercial Credit Analyst II will complete financial analysis for floorplan lines, floorplan buyouts and other commercial lending, including real estate and revolving lines of credit.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnderwriting commercial loan requests for new and existing relationships by analyzing the financial condition utilizing financial statements, tax returns, CPA statements, bank statements, and other necessary documentationCash flow analysis and pro forma forecasting and scalingFull understanding of entity legal ownership structure and ability to provide clear, concise explanation of themEnsure appropriate security instruments are recommended based on risk profile and ownership structurePresent recommendation, details and financial analysis to the appropriate authority levelOwnership of UCC process (filing, search and notification) to ensure properly perfectedTimely communication to stakeholders (Dealer, Manufacturer, Sales and Management) through the processObtain answers to any questions regarding financials, credit line requests, structure, and other relevant factorsMaintain a stakeholder focus throughout the underwriting process, exceeding service level commitmentsPrepare legal documents and follow up to ensure necessary documentation is receivedFinal review of loan documentation and audit prior to loan fundingPeriodic account reviews and maintenanceSupport the development of junior analysts by sharing knowledge, answering questions, and modeling effective credit analysis techniquesAssist in training new team members, helping them understand tools, processes, and credit policiesProvide coverage during team absences to maintain workflow continuityJoin complex credit reviews to build subject matter expertiseContribute to a collaborative team by offering peer-to-peer feedback and promoting open communicationParticipate in complex credit reviews alongside senior analysts, gradually building subject matter expertise.Consistently meets and exceeds individual, team and department objectivesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedPosition Requirements, Capabilities & SkillsSuperior analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding organizational and project management skillsAdvanced interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholdersStrong work ethic with an ability to meet deadlines while multi-taskingAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerWillingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentEffective decision-making, customer service and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business14+ months of Manufactured Housing Commercial lending experience OR2+ years of experience in commercial credit, structuring, and financial statement analysis, banking, finance, and/or loan servicingIntermediate to advanced MS Office skills in Excel, Word and PowerPointWe OfferCompetitive SalaryMedical/Dental/Vision InsurancePaid Holidays401K MatchGenerous PTOFSA/HSA PlansLife /Disability/Accidental Insurance and much more!Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
