If you're someone who actually cares about making people smile (literally), let's talk!The Role:We're seeking an experienced operations executive to lead facilities management and procurement strategy across all Eastern Dental locations. As Director of Facilities and Procurement, you'll ensure our practices are well-maintained, manage vendor relationships, optimize our supply chain, and drive cost savings through strategic procurement. You'll build the infrastructure and vendor partnerships that allow our clinical teams to focus on patient care without worrying about facilities or supplies.What You'll Do:Oversee facilities management and maintenance for 20+ dental practice locationsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtimeManage relationships with facility vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, etc.)Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all facilitiesLead procurement strategy for dental equipment, supplies, and office materialsNegotiate vendor contracts and pricing to optimize cost and valueManage vendor relationships with dental labs, suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and distributorsDevelop and optimize supply chain operations to ensure practices are properly stockedImplement inventory management systems and processesOversee equipment purchasing, installation, and lifecycle managementIdentify cost-saving opportunities through standardization and volume purchasingFind opportunities and lead projects to automate processes in these areasUse AI to improve our management of and insight into our spend in these areas.Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers and manufacturersTrack and report on facilities and procurement metrics (spend, savings, vendor performance)Lead emergency response for urgent facilities or equipment issuesWhat You Need:10+ years of experience in facilities management, procurement, or supply chain operationsExperience managing facilities and procurement across multi-site organizationsStrong vendor negotiation and relationship management skillsKnowledge of healthcare or dental facility requirements preferredProven track record of driving cost savings through strategic procurementUnderstanding of equipment and supply chain managementStrong project management and organizational skillsExperience managing budgets and tracking financial metricsExperience in managing a team and driving performanceAbility to balance cost optimization with quality and service standardsEastern Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
