• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures and ensuring understanding
• Work hand in hand with radiologists and referring physicians, producing high-quality diagnostic images that contribute to better healthcare outcomes
• Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment, swiftly addressing any technical issues that arise
• Document all imaging procedures accurately, ensuring thorough patient record maintenance within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices in the field

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is strongly preferred
