ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accounting functions related to payables.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Process all checks for all properties and Management Company.
  • Match all invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
  • Respond to all vendor inquires.
  • Reconcile all vendor statements.
  • Process annual 1099s.
  • Process any recurring accounts payable invoices.
  • Process all eviction checks.
  • Workers Compensation and General Liability Insurance Tracking.
  • Set up any new vendors.
  • All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work requested that falls within the qualification but not specifically described and to conduct all business in accordance with Sunquest Properties' policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other Federal and States laws.
  • Performs any additional duties assigned by Controller.
Qualifications
  • A solid understanding of property management and/or accounting experience.
  • Must be proficient in the following software programs:
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Adobe Acrobat
Work Hours

8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday Friday and after hours as required to complete tasks.

Other Requirements

Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal history background check prior to employment with Sunquest Properties, Inc.
