About the Role
Manage In-house Employment Practice and Support Commercial Practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise Human Resources and other Management regarding employment and employee relations matters, including pre-litigation dispute resolution. (30%)
- Manage outside counsel in employment litigation. (10%)
- Draft, negotiate and manage employment, independent contractor and vendor agreements. (10%)
- Manage outside counsel on immigration matters. (10%)
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements. (30%)
- Other commercial projects and assignments as needed. (10%)
Qualifications
- Must have a JD from an accredited school of law
- Must have a 4 year undergraduate degree
- 6-10 years’ experience as a successful employment attorney
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Well organized, flexible and multi-task oriented
- Must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and make decisions
- Strong, driven and hard working
- Comfortable Working Internationally
