Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Immediate need for a talented Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This is a 03+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Lawrenceville, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $25/hr - $26/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients and families
• Develop and coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
• Provide emotional support, counseling, and crisis intervention services
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist patients with community resources, placement needs, and post-acute care planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and healthcare regulations

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within Social Work specialty
• Active Georgia LCSW license required
• Recent acute hospital experience required
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
• Experience in hospital discharge planning and care coordination
• Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital workflows
• Ability to manage high patient volumes in acute care settings
