Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support the Warehouse Manager in the manufacturing of complex Navy communications systems within a job‑shop environment. The ideal candidate has experience coordinating cross‑functional operations, inventory management, and logistics activities in a manufacturing environment and is capable of independently managing multiple priorities while collaborating with engineering, production, quality, government, and customer stakeholders. This role requires the ability to exercise sound judgment, analyze operational requirements, and recommend solutions that support production schedules and mission success. Coordinate warehouse scheduling to support production requirements and on‑time completion of operational commitments. Collaborate with the Noblis logistics team and communicate material and scheduling requirements with internal and external stakeholders. Partner with project managers, engineering, production, and functional teams to evaluate logistics requirements and develop effective execution plans. Coordinate activities across contractor, government, warehouse, PITCO, Production and Quality Assurance organizations to maintain schedule alignment and operational compliance. Organize and prioritize warehouse activities to support production schedules, quality objectives, and customer commitments. Monitor warehouse operations, analyze issues, and recommend or implement corrective actions within established authority. Support factory logistics planning and contribute recommendations that improve operational readiness and workflow efficiency. Identify operational risks or schedule impacts and develop recommended mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, government requirements, and established operational procedures. Prepare operational reports, inventory analyses, logistics metrics, and status updates for management review and decision‑making. Maintain compliance documentation related to Controlled Access Material (CAM) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), ensuring accurate and audit‑ready records. Reconcile GFE shipping documentation with CMPRO system records to maintain inventory accuracy and accountability. Analyze inventory trends and material availability to support production planning and operational decision‑making. Recommend process improvements that enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and logistics performance. Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for assigned operational activities, coordinating effectively with technical teams, customers, and management. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience OR Associate's Degree and 6 years of experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of experience in lieu of degree 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material‑control experience. Experience coordinating, tracking and executing system transactions for material. Working knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/WMS tools, or similar databases. Experience supporting material movement, requests and inventories. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain traceability and accountability of material Must have a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one Must be a US Citizen Desired Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field. 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or material‑control experience in a production or defense environment. Experience with CMPro, ERP, WMS, or government property/accountability systems. Familiarity with configuration management, serialized assets, traceability, and controlled material. Experience supporting Production, QA, Engineering, and Procurement in an integrated workflow. Knowledge of cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, disposition, and excess/obsolete material management. Experience developing or improving warehouse processes, standard work, or WKIs/SOPs. Strong Excel skills, including inventory tracking, reporting, and data cleanup. Forklift or material‑handling equipment certification. Experience with shipping/receiving requirements, packaging, and carrier coordination. Familiarity with government‑furnished material/equipment and defense‑contractor environments. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on‑call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
