This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, with variability in the specific schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit will provide high-level care and personalized treatment to critically ill patients. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system is a plus.
