Program Operations Administrator - SES - 1

The Program Operations Administrator supervises staff and manages operations for the Board of Nursing's initial licensure program within the Florida Department of Health. This role includes overseeing a phone contact center, directing application processing, managing board meetings and committees, and developing policies to implement legislative directives. The position reports to the Board Executive Director and requires on-site work in Tallahassee. Key qualifications: Ability to supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage hiring and discipline Ability to analyze data, investigate complaints, and understand Florida Statutes and licensing regulations Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work activities and manage multiple teams Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with applicants, board members, and leadership Must be physically present in Tallahassee office five days per week with no telework option #J-18808-Ljbffr
