Operations Analyst

Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role located in New York, NY with opportunities for some remote work. Utilize knowledge of various asset classes, including equities, options, futures, swaps, corporate credit, foreign exchange, and commodities to support the operations of our client base. Manage various client relationships with vendors such as prime brokers, executing brokers, administrators, ISDA counterparties, and order management and accounting software providers. Support the clients’ trading desks and assist, as needed, with security setup, trade entry, and trade confirmation. Implement and assist with the day-end processes and sign-off for our clients. Perform daily cash, position, and activity reconciliations with Prime Brokers and Administrator within the client’s accounting system. Work with multiple systems, product types, vendors, and clients in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Review and process corporate actions within client portfolios, including reorganizations, spinoffs, tender offers, dividends, and option exercises/assignments. Produce cash and leverage reporting for clients, as needed. Assist with preparation of various regulatory filings (i.e., Form ADV, Form PF, 13F etc.) Assist in on-going projects to document and improve current processes and protocols to find efficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance. 3+ years of experience in a hedge fund or financial services operations role is preferred. Solid knowledge of various instrument types, as mentioned above. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Experience with various systems such as Bloomberg, Enfusion, and Eze Eclipse. Highly motivated individual who has a desire to learn and think creatively in a demanding environment. Solid analytical skills with the ability to perform complex problem solving. Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple assignments, working under pressure within deadlines and producing accurate, high-quality results. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
