Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Liberty, MO

• Start Date: 04/26/2026
• End Date: 07/26/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (3:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Hours/Week: 36 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
• Licenses/Certs: Valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience; preferred high acuity drip experience, arterial line, bipap, and Airvo experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct bedside care for PCU patients, including monitoring and managing high acuity cases
• Administer medications, IVs, and drips, following physician orders and protocols
• Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry, and respond to patient needs promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic health records
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies
• Participate in unit orientations and training as needed

What You Need:

• Valid Missouri RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 year of recent PCU RN experience
• Ability to float to related units as needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
