The Medical Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Candidates should submit requests for these exemptions at least 2 weeks prior to their scheduled first day of work.New hires have until January 14, 2022 to become fully vaccinatedWhat will you be doing?The Certified Medical Assistant performs clinical duties such as discussing symptoms and gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system. They also take vital signs, give injections, perform diagnostic tests, collect specimens, draw blood, sterilize and clean equipment, and maintain examination rooms at an outpatient care site. Collaborate closely with Physicians and Nurses. Deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.Required:Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
