Job Requirements:
- Must be available from January to April for extended hours and some weekends
- Tax & accounting experiences: Three+ years preferred
- Ability to communicate well with all people
- Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements/priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Lacerte tax software.
- Knowledge of Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of accounting software, such as QuickBooks, is a plus
- Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts
- Responsible for the accurate completion and review of income tax returns.
- Responding to inquiries from the IRS, Franchise Tax Board and other taxing authorities
- Excellent customer service
- Conducting tax interviews with clients
- Conducting bookkeeping tasks
- Training team members and new hires
- Ensuring client confidentiality and privacy
- IRS audit support & attendance
